In order to do so, she continues to deepen her investigation on Iranian art and literature and she analyses the way in which stories taken from classical literature have been portrayed in miniature along the centuries. In recent years, she has focused on the poems of Nezami Ganjavi, a great Iranian poet, and has been creating contemporary images of ancient Persian stories, and has displayed her recent works in group exhibitions in Italy, Turkey and Germany.
Notable Works:
“Black” It is the title of her latest project, an installation that was exhibited at the Rischee29 Art Gallery. The installation was made based on “Haft Peykar” story, by using various media. This work was formed as a continuation of the artist’s practice, which is focused on finding new ways of using materials and concepts by exploring ancient literature. This work expanded the image from ancient literature to a contemporary experience by creating new links between old pictorial traditions and new arts.
